The Rechna Doab, also known as Rachna Doab in Pakistan, is one of Punjab’s key regions.
Punjab has previously been divided into regions based on its numerous rivers, as the term Punjab is derived from the five major rivers that run through it.
All of the land between the Chenab and Ravi Rivers, from the Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir in India to their confluence in Pakistan, is included in the Rechna.
