What is Hajr-e-Aswad ?
The Hajr al-Aswad, also known as the Black Stone, is a rock that is located in the corner of the Kaaba, a sacred shrine located in the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Muslims believe that the stone has special powers and that it can bring blessings to those who kiss it. During the Hajj and Umrah, Muslims attempt to touch or kiss the Black Stone as a sign of respect and devotion.
